Open Question: NFL PLAYOFFS - Arizona Cardinals vs Carolina Panthers (WHO WINS)?

Ok, heres the thing the Panthers are 8-0 at home 10-0 if you include the pre-season the cards are 3-5 on the road, but alot of people are saying that the cards are going to win. The Panthers had an extra week of practice and relax I think there ready. The defensive line is back and healthy, the offensive is good to go and Carolina is coming off an good win against the saints. To sum it every up....The Cards have a two headed monster at wide receiver- Larry.F and Anquan B, the have James in the back field and a veteran QB. On the other hand the Panthers have two headed monster, D.Williams and J.Stewart, also a Pro Bowl receiver and a well experience playoff QB. Overall Carolina should have the advantage considering there at home and fact is Arizona is not a road team they just got lucky against Atlanta because Atlanta isn't a road team and how do u expect a rookie QB to do good on his first ever playoff road game and they only lost by 6. I Think the Panthers will arrive out like they did against Tampa Bay nice of slow a really close game until after halftime where they just explode with offense and there defensive backs them up. You can't forget that Carolina has played New Orleans twice and beat them both times and the Saints have the number 1 offense also beating the Broncos with the second rank offense and finally knocking off the cards earlier in the year and they too had a good offense. I say the Buffalo Sabres will make the playoffs this year. They will take on the Ottawa Senators in the Eastern quarterfinals and defeat them only to then again defeat a rival, this time the Toronto Maple Leafs. The big suprise will be when the Sabres take on the Philadelphia Flyers, who defeated them in the 1975 Stanley Cup Finals before the NHL expansion. They will defeat them in game 7 in overtime as they win it 4-3. Then they will take on another team who defeated them in the Stanley Cup Finals, this time the 1996-97 Stanley Cup Champs, otherwise known as the Dallas Stars. Jason Pominville will receive the last goal at 15:36 in the third period of game five, making it 4-2 Buffalo as Buffalo wins the series 4-1. The red carpet will then be rolled out onto the ice for the ceremonial Stanley Cup hoisting. This will give Buffalo another thing to celebrate after the Buffalo Bills defeated the Washington Redskins 30-24 after Trent Edwards received the touchdown pass from Roscoe Parrish in overtime at Superbowl 43. My first favorite team of course is the Sabres, being from Buffalo and every but my second close favorite is Detroit, the Stanley Cup Champs of 11 times!

10 Most Exciting Superbowls of every Time 10.) XVII Redskins vs. Dolphins 27-17 Exciting plays and a close game. The Dolphins led 17-10 at halftime and struck on 2 big plays. A bomb to WR Cefalo and a kick return by Walker. The game changer was on 4th and 1 when the 'skins went for it and John Riggins broke free and scored from 43 yards out to put the Redskins up 20-17. 9.) III Jets vs. Colts 16-7 Exciting not only because of the guarantee but more because the AFC finally won. This is what started the "Superbowl". If you watch the game, the Colts really blew it more than the Jets won - 4 interceptions and 2 were in the endzone, ugh. 8.) XLII Giants vs. Pats 17-14 I hate to say it because I adore the Pats but this belongs in the top 10. As Superbowls go it was boring until the final 5 minutes. Eli's ridiculous pass to Tyree and the image of Burress ruining the Pats undefeated season are burned into my mind forever. Congrats Giants, you earned it. 7.) V Colts vs. Cowboys 16-13 This is probably one of the more forgotten Superbowls but it belongs here for one simple reason. It is one of only three Superbowls decided by a last second field goal. It was also wild. Johnny Unitas threw a 75 yard TD pass to John Mackey that first tipped off receiver Eddie Hinton and then Dallas DB's Mel Renfro. Jim O'Briens 32 yard field goal with 5 seconds to play was setup off an interception. The Colts were actually down 13-6 before storming back in the 4th to win it. 6.) XXXII Broncos vs. Packers 31-24 Besides being close and coming down to a 4th down incompletion by Favre, this game was great in other ways. Personally, I thought Elway would choke again as he had in other horrific Bronco losses (Redskins and 49ers). He was serviceable though and with Terrell Davis leading the way, the AFC finally beat the NFC for the first time since Superbowl XXVIII (Raiders over Redskins). 5.) XXXIV Rams vs. Titans 23-16 Just a good game every-around. Back and forth and back and forth. It's in the top 5 because it literally came down to the last play with a Mike Jones tackle on the 1 yard line. 4.) XXXVIII Pats vs. Panthers 32-29 This Superbowl almost had it every. Big play scores. Back and forth play and a last second field goal. No question that this is one of the greatest of every time. The only piece of the pie missing was the upset part. 3.) XXIII 49ers vs. Bengals 20-16 Montana led an 11 play - 92 yard steer with 3 minutes to play to score the game winning TD with 34 seconds to play. Hollywood couldn't have done better. 2.) XXV Giants vs. Bills 20-19 Last second missed field goals are just as exciting. There's far more to this Superbowl though. The Bills led 12-3 after sacking backup QB Jeff Hostetler in the endzone and things were not looking good for New York. I never would've thought a backup could guide a team to a Superbowl win especially after falling behind. From 12-3, came 12-10 and then 17-12 Giants. The Bills came back to make it 19-17. Once again the Giants marched and came up with a field goal to go up 20-19. Norwood's miss was heartbreaking but it made for a very exciting Superbowl. 1.) XXXVI Pats vs. Rams 20-17 Of every the Superbowls played, this is the only one that literally had it every. The things that make Superbowls exciting are: Close games, last second victories, upsets, and big plays. This is the only Superbowl that delivered on every 4 parts. The Pats were huge underdogs. When the Rams tied it up at 17 every, nobody in their right mind gave the Pats a chance to win it and yet they did. Tom Brady drove them down in range for a dramatic 48 yard field goal by Vinateri AS TIME EXPIRED. This is the only Superbowl in which points were scored with no time remaining to determine to the winner. It's also one of only two Superbowls that literally came down to the final play (the other was Rams vs. Titans of course). If you agree, let me know. If not, I want to hear your thoughts!

Brees over these last 4 seasons seasons has emerged as one of the 3 or 4 best qbs today. every week seems like 400 yard game hes leading the league in yards and might reach 4500+ again this season. i look him throwing over 40000 yards and anyone who does that is automatically a lock for the hall of fame. hes not slowing down anytime soon.

Resolved Question: Superbowl 43: Steelers vs Giants?

I really have a feeling it will arrive down to these 2 teams, the Giants are 4-0 and the Steelers are 4-1, no team in there conference can cease them and they just keep finding ways to win. As for the 5-0 Titans, you really think Kerry Collins is gonna guide them to the superbowl? Haha atleast Roethlisberger proved he can win in the playoffs. Anyways, the Giants are owning the NFC East, And the Steelers keep finding ways to win, even getting revenge over their hated nemesis Jacksonville, a team who owned the colts at Indy a couple weeks ago. If the Giants keep playing the way they are, and the Steelers can stay healthy, I really have no doubt in my mind that this will be the superbowl. - Prediction- Steelers-28 Giants-24 Lol the colts stink, they lost to the Jags. Brandon, are you kidding me? The Steelers offensive line is one of the better lines in the league, the reason Big Ben is sacked so much is because he holds onto the ball too long trying to extend the play, when he should just toss it away. Also, every the 7 step drops when the Steelers know the other team is blitzing, doesnt help at every either. If Big Ben can make better reads at times, toss that along with 3 step drops, and a few screens, Ben would be sacked very rarely.
